CITY ON A HILL PROGRESS
We thank everyone who has contributed to our "City on a Hill" capital campaign. Total donations through January 1, 2010 are over $1,291,000! Now into the third year of our campaign, we are continuing to make good progress towards our total commitment of $2.33 million. Hundreds have stepped forward to answer the call, “Lord, what do You want to do through me to build your church?”
Student Wing renovations are complete for our older children (Champions and Powerhouse) and youth (ONE__Student Ministries), who have now been enjoying their new space for over a year now. If you haven't done so already, come see for yourself.
While we have deferred renovations on some areas of our campus, many of our partners have volunteered days and weeks to complete this project and we are continually humbled by their sacrifice. Some "super partners" continue to volunteer day after day—like Frank & Tam Motta, Bill & Ann Morrow, Jim Voss, and Jim Hampton. Countless others have given up evenings to paint and clean and do whatever needs to be done to see this project through to completion.
It is truly exciting to see the tangible results of the investment in our new campus. There is still more to come as we sacrifice financially to invest in the campus for future generations that we might be a "city on a hill" to offer hope, healing and the good news of Jesus Christ. It is also exciting to hear the stories of those God has blessed through their "City on a Hill" giving. Check out the video below to see a personal testimony from Eric & Cynthia Judd. Look for more tales of triumph in our services.
